Dear Sir or Madam I wish to apply for the position of a Chief Officer or Master on your vessel. I graduated with State Maritime Academy of Admiral S.O.Makarov located in Saint-Petersburg (Russian Federation), well aware with using PC programs: AMOS Busines Suite, ISF Watchkeeper, Refman 2, Centsoft, MESPAS etc. For the past 10 years I have been employed as a Chief Officer on RO-RO (+12 passengers, 300TEU), Car Carrier and General Cargo vessels (300TEU). I have a good experience with loading ro-ro cargo, containers, general (windmills, sawn goods) and bulk cargo (gypsum stones, salt, quartz). My benefits: 1. Good knowledge of the English language. I passed an oral exam in maritime law to the MCA Inspector in England at the Port of Hull to get confirmation of the British master license. 2. Mixed crew experience. I worked under the command of Swedish Captains for the last 8 years, The crew from Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia, Estonia, England, Sweden, Philippines, Poland. 3. Dry dock experience. In Europe, 2014, 2016, 2019, 2022 (2times). 4. Ice experience in Baltic Sea and Gulf of Botnia. 5. West Africa, Mediterranean Sea, Baltic Sea, North Sea, Suez Canal, Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea experience. 6. Crane experience 80t. 7. Bulk cargo, RO-RO cargo, Containers experience. I left my company/vessel (Ellingsen Shipping- crewing Anglo Eastern) due to the fact that my vessel changed the flag from UK to SWEDISH (only few nationalities are allowed to work under this flag) and from this time I am looking for good company.
